The state of Texas is also well known as being a center for musical innovation. Texans have helped to pioneer various musical genres, including rock ‘n roll, conjunto music, country, swing, jazz, the blues, and many others.

So, if you enjoy both BBQs and live music, there’s no better place to tour around than Texas.

You also need to ensure you pack well for a road trip. Make sure you have a spare tire, a first aid kit, plenty of water and snacks, and a smartphone. Also, make sure you pack the right clothing for your trip.

The Troubadour Festival

The Troubadour Festival takes place three times a year, in Georgetown, Celina, and Tyler, so you have a good chance of catching the BBQ and music festival regardless of which season you travel to Texas.

In 2022, the Randy Rogers Band played Celina. Other acts to have appeared at the festival include Chris Colston, Wade Bowen, and Graycie York.
