The Thai government website provides a convenient online application portal where you can fill out an online application form and submit it directly from your computer. Or you can even use apps such as Atlys to easily apply for the visa. 

However, remember that on the portal, you can only apply for a Thailand visa on arrival, which means you can get pre-approval for your VOA for the trip.  

To apply for a Thai visa online, you’ll need to provide the following documents: 

  • A scanned copy of your passport photo page
  • A scanned copy of your passport data page
  • A scanned copy of your passport-size photograph
  • A scanned copy of your bank statement or proof of financial means 
  • A scanned copy of your flight itinerary or hotel booking 

Once you have all the documents ready, you can complete the online visa application form and submit everything electronically.
