Whether you are looking for an archipelago to kayak or a cliff to climb, we’ve got a list of the best places you can travel on your next adventure. Do you want to visit Seychelles? Or maybe Madagascar? Regardless of taking Galapagos boat tours or a luxury cruise to the Maldives, every place is unique and offers an unforgettable opportunity to visit the rare beauties of these distant destinations.

To some people, islands are paradise on Earth with all those sandy beaches, clear waters, and majestic sceneries. While for others, hiking, cave exploring, kite surfing, snorkeling, and other activities are the real essence of adventure. Since everybody has their idea of an adventure, we have a recommendation for all! So, follow along with our recommendations and check our top five choices.

Dominica

Dominica

Out of all Caribbean islands, Dominica is the place for hiking. The trails will take you to the rainforest, along the volcanic sea cliffs, the mud pools, the fumaroles and boiling lakes, and the crystal-clear waters. It’s located in the West Indies and you can go on a hiking adventure where you’d get to see the volcanoes. The most appropriate time of the year for traveling to Dominic is February to April and you can take several flights from Puerto Rico, and take some local flights.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to hike on the longest Caribbean trail, the Waitukubuli Trail which runs along the island’s length. Even though it takes two weeks to finish the hike, you can do it in 14 sections. After all, it’s all about the adventure and the time spent hiking through the coastal coves and snorkeling in the reef instead of just passing the trail.

Hawaii

Hawaii

Hawaii is one of those places that are just perfect for adventure seekers. You can visit multiple islands, like Big Island and Maui. Maui is smaller than the Big Island but has a lot to offer. You can take a sailing trip or go snorkeling where you will see rays, small sharks, turtles, and hundreds of fish. You will feel like you are in your Little Mermaid world. For those who want to spend more time walking and exploring around, you can visit the Haleakala National park to watch the volcano edges, the sunset from some of the trails, or take a road trip and see the waterfalls.

The Big Island is called that way for a reason. It’s a huge island where you can go visit the waterfalls, enjoy the black sand beaches and the Volcanoes National Park. Additionally, you can snorkel with manta rays and take your itinerary to the Hilo or Kona side of the island.

The Caribbean

Carribean Islands

There are a lot of islands you can visit in the Caribbean. It’s not all beach bars and blue skies. Here you can see spectacular views, rainforests, and unique wildlife. Among the best islands, you can visit is St. Lucia. This island is very green and full of volcanic peaks. It’s a natural gem on the azure waters in the Caribbean. The twin peaks of Pitons are UNESCO world heritage sites and the most popular tourist attraction.

Next on the list, we will add Saint Kitts which is a National Park and a place covered in rainforest. The island is the vibrant home of the green vervet monkeys, elegant hummingbirds, and rare lizards. Sitting on the north of the islands you can see Mount Liamuiga. The mountain rises 1.210 meters and has a dormant volcano.

Saba is our third choice. It’s enriched with a marine park and impregnable cliffs. It’s known for the diving and hiking sites, colorful fish, and coral formations. Hikers can conquer Mount Scenery which starts in Windward Side.

Corsica

Corsica

Corsica is an island located in France where adventure seekers can go long-distance hiking. The best time of the year to visit is late June to early September. The island is filled with wild trails and massive granite mountains. It’s the home of GR20, the most spectacular trail in Europe. This route takes two weeks to complete, crosses through multiple roads, and provides a great opportunity to see Gorge du Tavignano.

Boracay

Boracay

Boracay is an island in the Philippines. It’s one of the most beautiful islands on Earth. The best time to visit it is from November to March. One of the main tourist attractions on Boracay is kite surfing. This is the best place for kitesurfers. With its perfect white shores, beautiful sceneries, and reef-protected lagoon with calm waters, Boracay is a real paradise. Furthermore, you can enjoy yourself by the pool in some of the resorts, or have a cocktail on the beach. We’d recommend staying on the beach to get the essence of this mesmerizing place. You can enjoy yourself in the hotel later.
