Dedicated to all the travelling couples..

Imagine watching the sunset from a beautiful beach holding the hands of your partner or watching the snow capped mountains with your beloved by your side. What can be more romantic that that? Travelling together is indeed fun!

Watching the sunrise together is an experience

I agree solo travelling also has its own benefits.  But travelling together has also its advantages. After travelling solo for a few years, now I am discovering the wonders of travelling together with my husband. A few reasons why I think that travelling together is great…

The first and foremost reason is that you have company. While long distance travelling, you will always have company whom you can irritate when you are bored! You will definitely not feel lonely; and if for any reason, you want to stay alone in nature’s lap, you will have an understanding partner who will respect your want of solitude!

Now that you are not alone, you don’t always have to be alert looking after your backpack while on the go. Both of you can equally share the responsibility. Getting food, drinks, looking for places to stay or in any emergencies, your partner will be always there. In that way, your parents might also worry a little less. (That happens with us, actually!!)

It is said that in conditions of stress, you actually get to know the person by the way he handles the situation. Trek, travel and adventure makes you stretch your limits and you get to know the real you when you are high in the mountains. Travelling together will help you to know your partner’s strength and weaknesses which might had been unknown to you.

Travel together and enjoy…

Besides, enjoying nature together can be bliss. I and my husband have been travelling for five years now. Travelling has made us much responsible persons and travelers. We have watched the sun rise at almost 11900 ft from Sandakphu. We have marveled at the underwater life together. We have braved sub zero temperatures of Ladakh in the month of January together. Whenever I was exhausted and worn out, he was there to raise my spirits. I have become his assistant whenever he went for his photographic assignments. I have understood myself better while exploring places with him. My mind stimulated and horizon broadened. We have also understood us in a better way and made our bond much stronger.

Hope we explore and travel more and more together.
